If anyone could help me identify this cichlid I would greatly appreciate it. The guy I got it from has no idea what kind it is, and I have spent hours combing the net trying to figure it out, to no avail. A friend of mine has 4 others of the same kind he wants to get rid of, and I would love to try and breed them. The male I have when he's fully colored up gets very pretty. I suspect it may be some kind of hybrid, in which case I wouldn't want to breed them, but I could easily be wrong. Any help with this would be extremely helpful. Thanks for our help.

To be honest...it looks like a cross between a Labidochromis caeruleus (yellow lab) and an OB morph of something else - possibly an OB peacock, it seems to have a much pointier snout than a mbuna should have?
