Craig's list. Excellent condition 75gallon tank and stand. Includes canister filter,led lights and glass canopy. Asking $250. Should I go for it or is this too much?

May be too much. Shoot for $1/gallon on a used tank. Don't pay more than 50% of the cost of (for other things). The stand, canister and lights are pretty worthless unless they are the look and brand you would otherwise buy.

Stand prices vary widely depending on whether it is iron or furniture quality.

That was my thinking. Looks in excellent shape. It's not iron stand but nice looking probably fibre board or similar.

Called my local Petco. $1 a gallon sale was on. 75 gallon not included but got Aqueon 75 for half price or $90 off.
