Just got a call from my mom, she grabbed this for $30 at an auction!

Only question now is what to put in it, been thinking about a Demasoni colony. What do ya think?

Really would like Demasoni, closest fish I've found are a 3 hour drive one way though. It will definitely be Mbuna.
Should have it home tomorrow sometime, see what came with it. Looks like a canister filter of some kind in there. No idea what it has for lighting.
I'll definitely post pics when it's done.

I absolutely love a good deal... I would have snatched that up if I were there... wow. It looks like a 55 gallon... probably 48 inches long... hard to say exactly from the picture though.... I'd bet a colony of Demasoni would be great - I really love mine... they're very fun to watch.

Yeah it's a standard 55, was gonna put that in the original post. Was so excited I musta forgot.

WHOO HOOO is correct.. :fish: ..That looks like a goood buy to me for $ 30.00 :thumb: The type/species of fish is whatever you desire...Demasoni or mixed Africans etc. Personal choice of course.!!

Interesting color scheme, nothing wrong with the combination. You could add another species or just increase the size of the two groups.

If I brought another tank home my wife would probably smother me in my sleep. But for a 55g with stand and hood for 30 bucks I would take the chance. Your Mom rocks and knows a good deal when she sees it. :thumb:
