My jag was getting too big (12") for thye tank (50gal) so i've swapped it for a breeding pair of green terrors. about 4" & 6" and there really pretty fish too.

The jags gone to a much bigger tank with some oscars and a arrowana.

Just out of interest i've never had green terrors so what should i feed them???

Old fish

new fish

p.s. i know this isnt the right section i will post all other related questions in the correct forum

thanks

what are the dimensions of your tank? 50 gallons is a little small for a breeding pair of gts's.

No it's not...

Nice looking hump on the male.
Well said and anyway i havent got the space for a whole lake in my living room, so they can make do with 50 gal :D

Another couple pics of my new babies

I'm gonna leave it a couple of days to see how they act before i decide what decor to put in (e.g.) if the male bullies the female ill get her a cave that only she will fit in but if they arent too aggressive ill just get a few rocks & plastic plants.

Any tank decor suggestions or pictures will be greatly received. Thanks :dancing:

p.s. whats the best food for them - i've got a full packet of
hikari gold
hikari predator
krill
and a bag of prawns left over from the jaguar cichlid.

Are these ok??? Or do the green terrors have any particular dietry requirements???

Cheers again

I feed my GT Dainichi and NLS and he went from "pretty bland" to "really nice" in about 6 months.
