I'm trying to figure out my my stocking list for a 50g show (48"x12", same as a 55g).
I think I've settled on 12-15 demasoni, 7 yellow labs, and I was thinking 4-5 Acei but not set on the Acei yet. I like them but I would also like to add some orange or red to the tank.
So two questions:
1.Are there any fish that I can add safely with dems and labs that are orange or red?

2. I currently have an albino zebra, well two but speaking of one in particular, its an albino "red topped" I believe. Its one of my favorite fish and would really like to keep it. Its one of the calmest fish in my tank and its about 4" right now. Would it be ok as far as aggression to keep that lone zebra in with the dems, labs, and possibly acei??? Like I said I have two and would keep them both if somehow it would help with aggression but if I'm understanding what I've read correctly, keeping both would likely add to aggression.
Thanks in advance for any help,

Khris

Geez it's a nice fish hey.

I'm no expert on zebra's at all but im pretty sure they will cross breed with the Labs.

If you're not planning to distribute the fry then why not give it a go, you will have to keep a close eye on things for a while however and be prepared to make some changes if it all goes pear shaped.

I would give it a bash and see how it goes.

Orange is a hard color to match with yellow labs and demasoni.. red zebras will cross with the yellow labs and your other option for a orange/yellow is salousi who's males will not coexist with demasoni's. I suggest going for a loner peacock in with the labs and dem's. Look for a red type to cover the red your after.
