I just realized that I put double the dosage of Pimafix in my aquarium of young African cichlids. One capful is 10 ml and the directions say use 5 ml per gallon. I'm doing a water change right now. In the meantime I need to know if I need to do anything else. :-?

Isn't it 5 ml per 10 gallons???

(I use Melafix, but don't have a bottle of Pimafix handy...)

Either way, it isn't going to hurt anything...

I have heard others say they had problems using both Melafix and Pimafix on very young fry, but it's never been a problem for me.

Duh...yes, it's per 10 gallons. I was borderline panicking when I wrote the original post. I have a 90 gallon tank and used one capful per 10 gallons. I did an approximately 20 gallon water change to cut back on the amount of Pimafix in the water. Everyone's looking fine and frisky in the tank. It's been three hours since I dosed them.

Thanks for the response.
