Pretty much any mouthbrooder can breed with another. Having said that, if you have plenty of females for each species, the probability of cross breeding show be low.

OK, thanks. I can't decide if they are trying to breed or battle it out for turf. It facinates me that they will breed with another fish that bears no resemblence to it's natural mate.
