[fish kid]

hey- i'm trying to figure out a stocking list without any species of fish that will eat my plants. Will rusties or acei eat anubias, vallis or java fern? thanks for any input
ps- can vallis be attached to rocks?

Anubias and java fern are usually okay with cichlids. Not sure about the vallis, but I do know that the key to success with keeping a planted mbuna tank is to have lots of plants rather than just a few!

Also define "eat my plants". I wanted fish that would not even nibble them. But my mbuna did nibble my java fern.

I've read that if you have enough plants, the occasional mbuna nibble is less noticeable.

However, my carnivore tanks don't even nibble. Now if I can just get rid of the snails!!
