Hey all...

As some of you might have read, I'm gonna buy me a new tank, to house a colony of Duboisi...

For the sake of them, what is better? A longer tank, but not as wide, or a bit wider, but not as long?

eg: 1.2m * 0.5m * 0.6m is an option, but 1.5m * 0.4m * 0.6m as well... What would be better?

Thx for any tips!

What would be better is a 182.28cm x 0.46cm x 0.61cm.

I prefer length and width versus length and height. A great tank is a 72"L x 24"W x 18"H. Which is 182.28cm x 61cm x 46cm but I don't know what you have available there.

How many fish do you plan to keep?

1.2m * 0.5m * 0.6m = 360 Liters
48 in x 20 in x 24 in = 95 gal.

1.5m * 0.4m * 0.6m = 360 liters
60 in x 16 in x 24 in = 95 gal.

Based upong these dimensions, your going to be a lot better with the 5ft tank (1.5m) Long.
