Ok so the tank is almost set up,75gal 48x18x21, running a FX6 for filtration.

I found a guy locally that is selling fry of these guys (see pic) considering picking up 8 or 10 so I can adjust once we can sex them. The other two groups would be Yellow Labs and Acei. Also one synodontis multi catfish.

Thoughts on the White Top? looks very nice to me but I have never kept them and any recommendations on our stocking thought is always welcome.

He has 4 Synodontis multipunctatus so I will grab them while I am there. :dancing:

Wow ....according to some research I did on these guys the Synodontis multipunctatus gets to be 10"...is that correct? I thought they only got around 4" or so.

Thank you DJ, I think the Synodontis lucipinnis might be the catfish I remember. Decision, decisions lol.

Unsure right now.....wifee does not like the idea of catfish. My goal was to keep the fry in check and not having to constantly deliver them to the lfs in trade for fish food. Years ago when I kept Mbuna, I remember it was a constant. That and trying to net the fry with all the rock in there was...well pretty much had to unload the whole tank. Once we decide for sure I report back.
