hey is white poop bad? i heard that it is bad...and they are dead parasites...i also hear that they are not to worry about? soo anyone really know? i have an uncle that has white pooop in his mbuna tank for 2 years and he gets it sometimes. but none of his fish die[/u]. so anyone know the aswer?

If he's feeding them something light colored then that might explain it. Long stringy white or clear feces can indicate internal parasites. If its been going on for years with the same fish and none of the fish have died then I might still do a round of something like Jungle Parasite Clear--or better yet, metronidazole soaked food. Another option would be to increase the frequency of partial water changes for a few weeks--do 2-4 a week, and cut down on how much they're being fed. See if there's any change.
