Hi all,

After a false start cycling my tank with a dead prawn, emptying, redecorating and filling... I'm finally back to try cycling my tank again!

I've managed to get some clear ammonia (not an easy task in South Australia!) but have noticed a white fluffy mould growing on one of my lava rocks. From what I've read this can happen with dirty water but when I'm cycling a tank I'm not supposed to do water changes right?

What should I do to get rid of the mould? I have a large rock wall of lava rock so I'd rather not have to remove it unless absolutely necessary.
