When someone has confirmed that they will purchase some fish you have, and that they will come pick them up, how do you usually prepare them for the person. Do you keep them in the tank so they can observe them before they buy? Or do you put them in a bucket or something?

I am asking this because I am trying to sell two of my aggressive fish. I have sold fish in the past, only it was very uncomfortable for me because my tanks are in my bedroom and I had a stranger come in to view them in the tank. Strange and stupid, I know. Should I just keep them in a small plastic container when the person comes?

adult fish, bucket or bag em in advance.
Fry I may bag in advance, or if they are a sensitive species like Cyps or sand sifters, then I might wait to bag em so the buyer knows I'm selling them fit active and healthy...

Fish are often hard to catch, so I usually have them bagged and ready to go so the buyer doesn't have to wait for me to catch them...

If my tank was in my bedroom I would be even more encouraged to catch in advance...

When I stop by to purchase a fish from someone I wouldn't be bothered at all if they had the fish pre-packaged.
