Ok, so I just finished stripping a 2.5" yellow lab on day 19. She gave me 28 healthy looking fry:



This is the second clutch from this female. She produced 14 fry last time, but this batch is from a much 'prettier' male, so I have hopes of getting nice fish.

Maybe you can tell from the photo that they appear to have round bellies which must be the last of the yolk sac.

I'm wondering if most folks start feeding stripped fry right away, or wait until they have consumed all the yolk. Or does it matter? I suppose if they eat, then they should be fed. :)

So, I guess I'm just asking what other folks see and what your experiences are.

I have never stripped fry that still had the egg sac. But from my reading they will not eat until it is gone.
