It would be easier to respond if you said what you'd like to stock in the tank. People on the forum will tell you if it will work or not.
Most tank raised fish would likely be fine with your water chemistry. You can also easily change your pH, KH or GH (with the use of additives), opening up even more options.
I'd probably suggest staying away from African Rift Lake cichlids (although some might be OK) but I am not familiar enough with the SA and CA to suggest them, so I am leaving this response to others.
For the Rift Lakes I like a pH of 7.8 or more. As a gross generalization.
