i am intrested in getting cichlids, i have mostly had tetras wich are really easy to take care of. I was thinking of multies i red up i have a 20g il probably just have about 3. But in my tetra tanks i just use gravel, and i have read that sand is better.

so what type of sand do i need how much, send me a link or something to help me out

alot of people here use pool filter sand. i use carib sea aragonite in one tank and crushed coral in the other

go to your hardware store or pool store what ever, say hey where is the pool filter sand, they'll should show u were it is, Its cheap, buy an 50 lb bang or 80 its like 20 bucks or something there u go.
