Hey guys/gals,

I'm setting up my 150 for my future colony of 30 ilangis that I have on reserve!

I did a DIY tank, and I'm also going to be doing a DIY canopy. My question is about which lighting to use, more specifically which color spectrum to use.

I was thinking maybe 2 6500k bulbs, 2 10000k bulbs, and 2 actinic bulbs.

Is this great combo to bring out the colors in my Ilangis? Any other recommendations?

I'll be using a light colored substrate, such as PFS.

EDIT: That should say DIY stand, not DIY Tank, lol.

I think that along with spectrum, I'd be concerned about keeping the wattage low to avoid overheating in the summer...
