With my Africans (Mbuna), the question is what vegetables will they eat. Mine are very picky for some reason; they will pick at cucumber and zucchini a little, won't even go near anything leafy, but will fight over peas.

I've fed mine peas, salads, lettuce and that's about all that I've got them to eat.

When you guys feed them veggies, do you chop them up or put in whole?

Leafy greens can use an aquarium type veggie clip that has a suction cup to attach to the tank and are put in whole.

Zucchini and cucumber can be skewered with a fork or similar item and hung in the tank. I slice them lengthwise and dangle in the tank. I remove seeds from cucumber with a spoon.

Remove any uneaten veggies in about 24 hours or before they get mushy. You may need to net out any small pieces the fish tear from the veggies.
