The first looks to be from the elongatus complex. Pseudotropheus elongatus "Something or other". I say that mainly from the elongated torpedo shape, and the dark coloration.

Does the second one (The OB fish) have a severely downturned mouth? It looks like it, but is hard to be sure from the pictures. That is a dead give away that the fish is a labeotropheus. There are two species, labeotropheus fuelleborni and labeotropheus trewavassae, and I cannot tell which one the fish might be.

the elongated one has dark vertical bars on its body.

the blotchy one has a small downturned mouth. i dont know if it'll get more obvious as it grows but at the moment, its barely noticable.

is their a way to tell if they are male or female?
