Maingano
2.5 inches
75g tank

bullied to the point where he wouldn't eat!

moved him to a 5g tank to try and fatten him up a bit but he ate less in the 5g tank than the 75g tank with the other fish...

threw him back in the 75g tank, fed the fish, he ate a few flakes then went back to lying down on the power head.

he doesn't even lay down vertically, hes on his side. when feeding time comes again he eats a little then goes back to his power head.

at the moment i have him in a clear container with holes at the top corner of the tank where i can feed him and he can rest all he wants without having to swim so much to get food.

is there anyway i can fatten him up faster and in a healthy way obviously?!?!
he is very very very skinny and looks very weak, i'm not even sure he's going to make it at this rate :(

any help is appreciated!
Thanks!

If he would not eat even in the 5G then he may be sick. I would try a post in the Illness forum and describe all his symptoms.

well he he doesn't look sick, his fins, gills, scales, eyes, look fine

hes just very skinny, hes eating again now in the container in the 75g tank, going to be a longggg process to get him back to normal >.<

thanks for all the help!!

hearing that it was normal behavior for a bullied fish put me as ease a bit :)
