Ok I know I take real good care of my tank and make sure fish are feed water changes every week but everytime I check my water everything is always zero at first I thought I was good but Im starting to worry espically now that my algae eater died. The water testing kit is the one at petsmart for 30 bucks it has 5 test tubes like 6 bottles of solution can yall please help me with this

What mfgr. & how old is it??
well the water kit i just bought like 2 mths ago the algae eater i dont know how long ago it died it was under neath one of my pots it didnt fall on it i know that i change the rocks every mth but i dont know if it was the water or the temp my heater broke and water was at 68 degrees or if it was killed by the other fiish it had no eyes no guts it was all bones also i know about the ich all my fish are rubing against the sand but i dont see any white stuff on the fish or floating could it be cuz my water temp is so low please help me.
