HI to every one out there,

I want to know what the lowest temp would be for malawis?

I have a 180 gal pond setup and put some in last year and they did fine at around 70-72*F when they went in this time last year. I just want to make sure that I don't put to much stress on them. Tha days are getting much warmer and right now the temp is a cool 70*F at first light and 700pm. I have an arutus and female blue ahli in there now and both seem to be fine.

Should i wait to add more or do you think I could and a few more?

I would wait until water temps always stay above 70 F, closer to 75 to not stress the fish. They may live, but I would wait.

A 180g pond can vary alot in temp I think, depending on depth and how much sun. Watch to see how much it heats up during summer.
