Used coral rock

A friend has some coral rock he had in his Malawi tank..it's out of the water and some of them are stained brown and algae...could I put these into my new tank setup or could I take the dirty look of them by washing them..any help appreciated

You can put them in a tank as they are or use bleach to render them almost white. It is really just a question of what you prefer.

If you use bleach, just give the a good wash and a soak in clean water afterwards, and use an extra dose of dechlorinator when putting them in the tank :thumb:
