Unexpected Frey found when cleaning tank! Help!

Hi everyone. So last night I was cleaning my 60 gal Mabuna tank and I found a little bitty baby! I was able to rescue the little guy before the big fish saw him and now have him in a 10gal tank I have set up for emergencies.

I Am totally unexpierience and uneducated when it comes to raising Frey as I am also newer to the hobby.

What do I need to know? What does this little guy need to survive? What do I feed him? Can I crush up the pellets and flakes I currently feed my fish for it? Do I need to add anything special to the tank? Should water readings and temp remain consistent from my main tank?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The baby tank should match the adult tank initially and be heated and filtered like the adult tank. Feed crushed up adult food and feed 4X daily. Remove uneaten food daily.

Some people change water daily on the fry tank for healthy growth.
Thank you so much! Wish me luck! I can't believe this little guys survived in the large tank. I am not sure how long he was hiding in there but there was no longer a sack around him. We have our guesses on who the mom is due to a fish acting a little strange lately but did not notice anyone holding or their mouths looking different. If I can keep this guy alive it will be interesting to see what kind he is as the tank is pretty mixed.

One last question. Rocks and decoration wise what should be in this little tank if anything?
They like to have rocks...maybe not the first couple of days they are spit. But since yours was already spit in the big tank...I would add rocks. I do keep fry tanks bare bottom (no substrate) while they are really young.
