I have used many undergravel jet systems in addition to my canister filters in the past with great success. I am setting up a 65 and would like to go with sand, but I like the jets since they help so much with keeping the water clean (the fish like swimming in them also). Has anyone used them with sand?

yes, i have & i have no problems at all. i have a fluaval hagen 305 & 5 usj's in my 55 gal. does a fine job. anytime i stir up the sand 9wc) etc. i turn off my filter just 2 b safe.
