Hi i'm a bit worried about my Acara, it seems like some kind of ulceration he has?

He's in a 4 foot tank 45 Gallons, with 2 small silver dollars, 1 angel fish, and 2 gouramis

I do a 30% water change every 5 days

Any Info Would Be Much Appreciated

It might be anchor worm.

Just in case it is, I would treat the tank with an antiparasitic med for a few days. Jungle Parasite Clear works well for anchor worm.

Thanx for your reply m8, *** just done a water change and treated the tank with general tonic (Aquapet)

If No improvement will re-treat with new medicine

I'm not sure, but I do know that the fish can have it for a long period of time before it is visible.

It may just be the pimple like growths that these fish tend to develop from time to time, there is no way to be sure.

One thing you don't want to do is try to forcibly remove the anchor worm. It will pull out a huge hunk of the fish with it.
