This fish was only a rumor until it was collected in 1988. Only the second fish to be formally described in the genus, fernandezyepezi is a real challenge for the aquarist. Imported species are limited and wild fish have proven to demand very clean water with the parameters outlined above. Adults are striking and very different in appearance to juveniles. |
