Two questions

433 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Bruce Haynes
I have a well established 46 gal. bowfront. Currently there are approximately 10 small asorted tetra.
1 Can I add both Bolivian and GBRs to this tank?
2 If so how many of each or if only one type how many can I add?
I can always move the tetras to a 29 gal if necessary.
Thanks

1. No, the GBR's require much higher temps than the Boivian's ...like 86-88 degrees and Bolivians like it way cooler.
2. Bolivians like to live and interact in groups. So you could probably have 5-7 in your tank.
3. I am not sure about GBR's, but I don't think they are nearly as social as the Bolivians are. Best guess...4.
