tubing in caves?

I looked through a bunch of past posts and did not see what I was looking for. Does anyone know of any DIY backgrounds where people have incoperated tubeing for fry caves and pipe for fish right into the cement and styro?

I have a vision in my head head but i am not sure how it work out so before I put a bunch of work into it I thought I would see if anyone has done this before with success.

I have a 55 gallon tank that is currently at my brother in laws house ( we moved and don't have room). Right now there are:

4 adult and 11 yellow lab fry
3 adult and 5 demansoni fry
3 adult and many red zebra fry
1 large copadichromis borleyi

There is alot of holey rock in the tank which is where the fry currently hang out. I've never seperated the fry and have had a good success rate. I've been toying with a DIY backiground for a long time and would like it to work for all the fish in there now..and the ones to come later. any help would be great.

Bentcountershaft is doing something similar to what your looking for. http://www.cichlid-forum.com/phpBB/view ... highlight=
Instead of tubing, I've used the long skinny balloons that you twist to make balloon animals, and I've used inflated nitrile gloves, which makes a cave and five tunnels.
