Fish like all kinds of things that are bad for them.

Tubiflex have a bad rep for including parasites. Not sure about dried ones.

What kind of Malawi do you have? Carnivores? Herbivores?

Just like us huh ..?

They're just dried cubes so i don't think any parasites could survive on them ?.

Got some omnivores and carnivores.. but they all seem to like whatever i give them - whether it be meaty, live, vegetable or flake and pellet?

Yep. So with omnivores in the tank I would feed a much more vegetable/fruit based diet. Look for something that has spirulina and other ingredients that sound yummy for you to eat like vegetables and fruit. Aquatic protein like krill and herring. Low protein around 34%.

Thanks :D will the carnivorous fish enjoy that too ? .

So do you mean actually feed them fruit and veg? like ripened and chopped up and that ?..
What kind of fruit and veg? i've been shelling peas and feeding to the fish - they love them.

i have pellets that have spirulina and earthworm in them - but the protein content is 52%.
Is that too high ?

Thanks.
