I don't normally do these lists, and Malawian fish in general don't interest me, but I can think of a handful that do:

Placidochromis electra
Placidochromis sp. 'Phenochilus Tanzania'
Fossorochromis rostratus
Nimbochromis linni
Cyrtocara moorii

Here are my top 5

Protomelas spilonotus (Mara Rocks)
Placidochromis electra
Aulonocara sp. "Walteri"
Aulonocara stuartgranti (Ngara)
Protomelas sp. "Spilonotus Tanzania" (Liuli)

The Fossorochromis rostratus would make the list but mine is taking so long to color up. The A. sp Lwanda would be a close one to make my list.

^^ We had a fossie that took two years to show any color and thought it was a she and another that colored up at around 9 months. They color up when they are ready it seems.

I got 5 fossies about a year ago, they were around 2 inches; they're all about 5-6 inches now, minus one that was eaten by another fish (long story). I have a beautifully colored male, he's had color for 3-4 months, and his fins are getting amazing. He loves to dance for the girls in the morning. But apparently the girls haven't matured yet, even though one of them is a little bigger than he is.

Like I said, I generally don't care for Malawians, but watching him try to impress the girls can be quite entertaining.

This should've been a poll. I'm tempted to go through and see which are getting multiples, but too lazy. Shoot.
There is a lot of Aulonocara stuartgranti (Ngara) and Placidochromis phenochilus.
