Can I use too much limestone in my Mbuna tank? It is easily obtained where I live and is free:) I am only using it for making structures for the fish to swim through and around. My tank is a 150 gallon acrylic with a 55 gallon sump. I am new to this so any input would be appreciated.

No such thing as too much rock, only opinion of too much. Limestone is great to use in most cichlid setups as it will help increase and or stabilize PH. It can only buffer to a "x" level and no more, no matter how much you have in your tank.

Thanks Dragonetti and jason081180 for the input! I'm glad to hear that you can't over dose the tank with it. I like to have alot of stuff for them to swim through so I put quite a bit of rock in the tank. I might put more now that I know I won't hurt anything. I live near Manhattan by the way.
