There was a large househould spider walking around my room. about the size of a passport photo - but with long skinny legs.
Thinking they were completely harmless here in Ireland, i decided to plop him in to my ever hungry Oscar.

He swallowed him whole, but now the spiders legs are hanging out of his mouth, not moving. For the last ten minutes he has been swimming around with it half hanging out of his mouth.

Am i in trouble ? Or is he just savouring his food?.

Oscars are natural insectivores (even though the spider is an arachnid, it counts)...your oscar will be fine. Most cichlids will eat live insects, if given the chance.
