Thanks y'all. Glad to be part of the forum. Here's my residents without going scientific. One of each species:
yellow tail acei
cobalt blue zebra
powder blue socolofio
albino Snow White
and two common plecos for the fun of it
I've heard many different opinions on how many to stock in a 55 gallon. I've heard some reputable people say take the number of gallons and divide it by two. And their are people who say much lower. Everyone is right in reality. Each fish has it's own personality. In my opinion, even though their are characteristics among classifications, that can help you predict behavior there are always deviations from the rule. I can say my tank has seen less aggression when I've went from 4 to 8 and even less when I went from 8 to 12. I wish I could tell the sex when they are one inch long but in most cases it's a **** shoot.
