Impossible to answer without knowing the size of the tank, but in any sized tank, the T. duboisi is going to be very unhappy with all those Malawians.

What are the dimensions of the 60G? When we have the length of the tank we can comment on species and numbers. 60G is usually either 36" or 48". To start setting expectations, the max species I like in a 72" tank is five species.

These are the same fish and don't mix them with yellow labs because they cross breed.

If you want the variety you have on your list consider all male haps and peacocks with one of each and no look-alikes.

If you want groups, think in terms of 1m:4f (or more) of each group and reduce the number of species.

Petricola sold most often are actually Synodontis lucipinnis and are better in groups of five.

it is a 48" tank

will be buying juveniles so they are unsexed?

5 species so I need a yellow, blue, "red", "white" to go with the rusty's, sounds easy

That doesn't work. Although Tropheus can be quite boisterous amongst themselves, they tend to get bullied by Mbuna, and keeping a single Tropheus is never a good idea. :fish:

For a 48 inch tank you want three or four species.

What is the measurement of the tank from front to back on the sides?

48x12 would have 3 species to be a good stocking.

There is not a red mbuna. The orange red zebra (see the background blotch in my avatar) is the closest but really not red.

I personally have had better success with demasoni in groups of 12 or more so I would swap them out for Cynotilapia sp hara.

Shoot for a maximum of 15 fish at maturity (that can be 2 inches for labs).

Or you could do 2 species and just have the rusties and labs with 7 of each.
