I'm currently stocking my 75 gallon tank and since my local petshops are lacking in quality mbuna, i am resorting to mail order.
I already have the yellow labs (letting them get comfortable before I add more aggressive species). my second species is demasoni.

for a third species i had originally thought acei's or socolofi but there have been some new specieces that caught my interest
what does everybody think of Metriaclima greshakei and Pseudotropheus, “Red Top Ndumbiâ€

well i would think then since they would be going up against labs and demasoni (i'm guessing the dems won't even care they are there since they look nothing alike) the orange caps would probably be the dominating species right?

so do you think they might be alittle too aggressive for the labs? its an office tank so i'm going for some minimal maintance.

What are your thoughts about the ice blues, acei, and socolofi? would the demasoni's harass the ice blues because of the barring or are do you think they are enough different?

also, all four will not readily cross breed with the labs will they?

ok, well unfortunately my budget does not allow me to buy sexable fish (working college student). You recommended a 2m/4f ratio i should bet about 8-10 fish and remove excess males?

I might be able to get acei's and i do like them almost just as well. still would grab a few extra, not sure how much i trust the breeders venting skills
