In the living room we've had a 30 gallon set up for years, and it's seen it's fair share of different fish. Right now it's probably on it's 50th generation of God knows how many guppies. Also we've got a red eye tetra and a glass catfish in there. The whole tank is pretty much covered in java moss too, and I'd like to keep some of that stuff around.
So...
I want to totally redo the tank. New species. I already have a tank of mbunas, so nothing from lake malawi. I'd rather not do more than 8 total fish in the tank, because I've had an angry mob of guppies for so long.
What do you guys think? What would be a couple of compatible, nice looking medium sized species to put in there? Really I'm open to any suggestions here. Just throw your two cents in
