Calling African Cichlid experts to help ID some fish. I really have a deep respect for you guys: with a 1000+ species of AC fish, it is not an easy task ID'ing some. I will try to post some good pics. Any help with be great!

Fish 1: Blue jade face. Pretty but.... What is it? Scientific name and common name?

Fish 2: If it is an Otopharynx Lithobates, why does he have a brown body, not blue.... even at 4 inches???

Fish 3: Pretty yellow: But is if a Nkomo benga (Aulonocara baenschi) or an Aulonocara Stuartgranti Maleri? What really is the difference?

The problem with Aulonocara is that many fish for sale are mixed and hard to know for sure. These are decent fish, were they sold under a name?

1. seems like Aulonocara korneliae. They are a nice light blue, with some yellow-orange color, with defined egg spots. They seem more active than other Aulonocara.
2. Lithobates, they don't have to color up completely. Males that are at the lower end of the pecking order may not color up much.
3. Does seem like Baenschi color wise except that the forehead isn't as curved. The problem is that tank raised fish look less natural and they have mixed Baenschi and Maleri together too. Very nice color.
