I have seen a breeding pair of texans with other similar sized cichlids in a 75G tank, the texans took up about half the tank as their territory so it is possible. The texans were 5 or 6 inches and I believe they were with a Dempsey and a Jag about the same size. A larger pleco will also work but will probably charge through mom and dad and eat some fry.
Your best bet is a large school of giant danios...at least 15, so that they are difficult to single out. They have about a 75% chance of success in my experience.
