This powder coated one by DeWalt and other heavy duty versions are rated for approx. 2500 pounds per self when evenly distributed. They are 72 inches long. You'd probably have to build a wooden supporting frame/base from rail to rail rather than use the mesh bed itself to support a tank. Has anyone used these in a small tank farm setting? If so how did it work out?

Regards,
Stu

Ummmm... no.
But, I suspect that shelving system would work great for your tank farm project.
Uhhh... so, what are you planning to breed/grow out in those racked-up tanks?

I have not used that particular brand stand but have seen others use it on another forum for the purpose you are considering. They did add a 1/2" piece of painted plywood to each level for full coverage. The yellow color would make it a no go for me!
