This is a link to a website created by a Moderator with an eight foot tank and quite an assortment. In a tank smaller than 72" many people find that a species tank works better since they tend to kill other fish when they spawn. I am surprised the brevis and cyps survive in the tank featured on the website. I might try leleupi. http://www.fmueller.com/home/aquaristic/240g/fish/
I tried to mimic Franks tank on a smaller scale and found very few other fish that were able to hold their own in a Brichardi-type mixed tank. I had Helianthus take over most any tank they were in just by sheer breeding unless your diligent in pulling out fry or trying to sex out only females in a rather monomorphic species of fish. For a long time I was able to keep Telmatochromis Temporalis shellies in a 75g tank with Brichardi.
