So as i'm sure you know most filters come with some type of carbon media. I have always just left it in my filters and replaced it as needed but after talking to several other people in the hobby and ready many peoples opinion on the forums here, I've decided to pull them and replace with more bio media. Any suggestions? I'll need to fill one basket in a Marineland C-360 2 Aquaclear 70 & 110, and 2 H.O.T Magnums. For the C-360 I was thinking just buying more bioballs. But I was curious what you all think/suggest.

I just added more floss to my AC70. My XP2 has bio stars to which I also added more floss after the carbon was done.

I didn't even put the charcoal bags in my C-360 on initial start-up.
Used the green Scotts scouring pads.
Cut some to the shape of the basket, and layed a few deep.
No issues with that.
Also replaced the expensive filters on my HOB with the same Scotts pads.
