having an outdoor pond (2500g) here in the midwest appears to mean that you have to deal with excess string algae. anyone have any thoughts on whether it would be harmful to add some to tropheus or petrochromis tanks for then to graze on? i could add rocks with it attached or just scoop out small clumps to put in the tanks . . . right now i'm feeding them nls and veggie flake.

introduce it slowly, as you would any new food, and you should be fine. do not be surprised if they dis it. i find many of my tanked fish to have developed Mcsyndrome, and prefer to stick with fabricated foods over natural options.
