so my convict pair finally bred inside of a large conch shell last week in the 135...tankmates are 8" syn, 6" black belt, 6" jag, 3 3" sals...the dominant female sal kept invading the shell (much to the male cons dismay) and doesnt want to leave, twice they came out liplockin and really fightin it out....why would this be happening? the 2 male sals in with the female sal dont ever seem to give her a second look....answers anyone? thanks in advance...oh yea and over the 3 days this has happened, today the cons dont seem to guarding the shell as much, if at all, no sign of fry so far...
