i have two baby sevs which i am moving to most likely a 75 gallon (possible a 90).
i like green terrors, blue acaras, jd's. i am trying to figure out if any of these are a good mix with a pair of sevs. im gonna wait to find out if my guys are male or female and if they will pair up. if they happen to do that i will leave them alone. im not looking for them to pair, i just dont want it to happen by chance then all **** break loose.

so, anyone have suggestions as to which of these may work and how many may be appropriate? anyone have personal experiences with any fish like this?

lastly, if you feel these are all bad choices, any suggestions?

thanks

A 75 or 90 would be perfect for a pair of Sevs... 2 Adult males, maybe... If you want to start mixing big cichlids a 6 foot tank (125g+) is really ideal... I've noticed that most cichlids are more aggressive towards their own species - sevs are no exception... You could probably do a Sev and a Blue Acara, or a Sev and a JD in a 90g - but adding multiple sevs could be problematic regardless if they pair or not...

The GT would do best in a 90g by itself or with something smaller like a pair of cons - a full grown Sev and a full grown GT would be pretty tight in a 90g...
