Hi everyone,

I recently setup a new 180 litres (45 US Gal) aquarium dimensions of 100 x 40 x 45 cm (39" x 15,7" x 17").
The tank is fully cycled and is stocked by a trio of young red zebra and a trio of yellow labs. All of them being between 1,5 and 2 inches.

I was hoping to add a trio of Demasoni but I documented myself and realised that it was not doable in my size tank due to their aggresivity.
What other stocking could you advise that is similar to the demasoni ?

Thanks in advance for your feedback :)

Welcome to Cichlid-forum!

I would not add a 3rd species in a 39" tank and not sure I would stock red zebra in anything less than 48" either.

If you want to try the labs and estherae I would add females to both species groups, shooting for 1m:4f of each and call it stocked.

Don't save fry as labs and estherae crossbreed.
