I currently have an established 55 gallon with 4 small angels (largest 2.5"), 2 long finned rams(both males), 4-1.5" unidentified cichlids (waiting for growth and color to ID), 1 Australian Rainbow (3"), 1 Danio, 1-8" common Pleco. I have 4 small Turquiose Severums (1.5-2") that are in quarantine (treating for Ich from lfs) and want to know if I can add them to the 55 gal or if that will be too many fish for that tank when all are grown.
I will appreciate any comments on this. Thank you.

The severums will be too much with all the other fish in that tank. A tank that size, I wouldn't have more than one severum along with dithers or a smaller cichlid species. Or you could get away with a breeding pair of severums in there perhaps. But the sevs going in a 55 along with those other fish - too much.

Just out of curiosity, how did you come by unidentified cichlids? Surely you knew what you were buying before you bought them, or LFS told you?

I agree with conor on adding the severums.

Have you tried posting a pic of the unidentified cichlids over in that folder to find out what they are?
