What are you looking for? With some mbuna, you might have a more colourful tank. Ps. saulosi usually work well in such a tank. Labidochromis caeruleus often do. A small group of some types of Aulonocara do. The Aulonocara maylandi is a popular fish for such a tank, as they are best on their own anyway.
What ratio do you suggested? 2m/6f? Or 1m/4f? I got a trio of chitande north that I might used for this tank. Originally got 2m/2f but one of the male got killed. I was surprised because I thought chitande wasn't that aggressive.
Would you suggest 2 different breeding group like lab and the maylandi? Or just keep it a maylandi tank only w a few cyno?
