What are good algae eaters for small mbunas?

I'm interested in clown loaches, but are they compatable?

i have seen some people put clown loaches with their mbunas but clown loaches prefer softer water and ph around 7.2 or 7.5. you can try putting a pleco in with your pleco.

JUST FOR THE WARNING: mbuna loves to pick out the eyes of the pleco...(some problems my friends have and lfs have where i am from.)
this has happened to me, although my stocking conditions were absolutely terrible my pelco became a pirate pelco.

after a short vacation the pelco disappeared too....

Glyptoperichthys gibbiceps is by my opinion the best one, he have a attitude of his owna and he can even fight with the ones that pick on him.
