It should still be fine. Pour some in to a 5 gallon bucket and rinse out with water before putting in to tank.

I am starting my new 30 gallon african cichlid tank. I have used saltwater carib sea sand which I left it outside for few months after I took my tank down. I want to know can I re-use that sand. How long do I have to clean it meaning how do I know if its safe to add in the tank. Has anyone done it before. thank you.
